Common Questions

When do I pay?

You don't pay anything upfront. We review your request, coordinate with the facility, and only collect payment once we've confirmed your ceremony date. No date, no charge.

What if the facility denies the request?

Facility denials happen. If we can't get approval for your ceremony, you owe nothing. We'll work with you to explore alternatives if possible.

How long does the process take?

County jails are typically fastest (2-4 weeks). State DOC facilities average 4-8 weeks due to the credentialing process. Federal facilities can take 6-12 weeks. We keep you updated throughout.

Can my partner and I write our own vows?

Absolutely. We'll work with you and your partner to personalize the ceremony within the facility's guidelines. Some facilities have restrictions on what can be read aloud — we'll let you know.

Do I need a marriage license first?

You'll need to obtain a marriage license from the county clerk before the ceremony. We'll guide you through the process, including how to handle signatures when one party is incarcerated.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all correctional facilities in Washington State, plus federal facilities and select locations in Oregon and Idaho. If your facility isn't listed, reach out — we'll do our best.

Ready to take the next step?

No payment required. Just tell us about your situation and we'll handle the rest.
